She danced for her college athletic teams for four years and performed professionally for the Chicago Bulls basketball team for two years thereafter. Venessa has been featured as a fitness expert on the CBS Early Show, where she demonstrated Golf Pilates, a popular specialty she has developed at The Breakers. Her philosophy on fitness is that people at any age can benefit from exercise and the vitality it generates; and that exercise is not only important for the body, but also necessary for the mind. Although fitness is only one part of optimal health, it makes people feel good – a benefit that brings about many other healthy lifestyle changes. Venessa holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Promotion from The University of Iowa, with a minor in Nutrition and Dance. She is certified with the American College of Sports Medicine and All-American Pilates. |

She incorporates functional training and creativity into her workouts and enjoys having a diverse base of clients from teens to those in their 90’s. Jodie is very passionate about her work; she believes that exercise should be an integral part of one’s lifestyle and that it is key to physical and mental well-being. Jodie has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill and is certified with the National Strength and Conditioning Association. |
    | |  | Anthony Giovino, Certified Personal Trainer |  | Anthony hails from Norwood, Massachusetts and has been a personal trainer for six years and affiliated with The Breakers since 2003. Anthony believes in a functional approach to exercise in order for his clients to achieve ideal performance. His training approach focuses on stabilization, balance and strength. Anthony takes pride in working with all ages ranging from teens and young adults to active older adults. When not at the gym Anthony enjoys playing golf, ice hockey and biking. A graduate of Colby Sawyer College in New Hampshire, Anthony holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Exercise Science. He is certified with the National Strength and Conditioning Association as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. |
    | |  | Josh Seligman, Certified Personal Trainer |  | Josh has been a personal trainer for 12 years and has worked with the Florida Marlins baseball team for the past three years. He was named Athletic Trainer and Strength and Conditioning Coach of The Year for 2005 and 2007. Josh specializes in general fitness for health, nutrition and sports-specific training, with a focus on identifying and correcting muscle imbalances that may be causing chronic pain. His philosophy is that fitness is a lifestyle – ‘work hard and rest well.’ and grounded in a mind, body and spirit approach to living. This includes eating well and an emphasis on dietary moderation versus austerity. By using one’s body every day (but not only in the gym), one can add years to one’s life and life to one’s years. Josh attended the University of Hawaii and graduated with a Masters degree in Sports Medicine and Nutrition, as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree in Exercise Science and a minor in Physiology and Chemistry. He is certified with the American College of Sports Medicine and the National Strength and Conditioning Association. |
    | |  | Marcella Seymour, Certified Personal Trainer |  | Originally from Connecticut, Marcella moved to Florida after a successful dance career with Disney Cruise Lines and as a Radio City Rockette. Marcella teaches master classes at Ballet Florida and has been a featured model in Pilates Style, Dance Spirit and Dance Teacher magazines. Marcella’s philosophy is to create fun, interactive sessions that make it easy for her clients to integrate fitness into their lives. Her programs are customized to each client’s needs in order to achieve desired results. Marcella earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Dance and Business Management from Hofstra University. She is certified as a personal trainer by the National Strength and Conditioning Association and the National Academy of Sports Medicine, and completed her Pilates certification at the Kane School of Core Integration in New York. In addition to personal training, Marcella also offers group and private Pilates lessons. |

Paula has a degree in Physical Education from her native Brazil and is certified by the American College of Sports Medicine, Fitness Institute, Aerobics and Fitness Association of America, Aquatic Exercise Association, YogaFit, and Mat Pilates. |
