THE BREAKERS PORCELAIN BOX A round of applause for this charming piece depicting the Circle Dining Room which opened in December 1928 and is one of the most favored restaurants at The Breakers. The large, two-story circular dining room overlooks the Atlantic Ocean and still retains its original Renaissance-inspired decorative detail. A skylight crowns the thirty-foot domed ceiling and hanging from a gold leaf sunburst at the center of the dome is a magnificent Venetian crystal chandelier. Made of fine porcelain with gold accents. 4” dia x 2 1/4" H. Made in Japan. |
