As part of our ongoing commitment to renewal, The Breakers is completing the revitalization of its iconic Mediterranean Courtyard and has begun a full-scale transformation of the Family Entertainment Center.
Additional enhancements planned this year include the Golf & Racquet Clubhouse, Flagler Steakhouse and select South Tower Guest Rooms.
Mediterranean Courtyard
Opening late May 2026
Located just off the hotel lobby, the Mediterranean Courtyard is being thoughtfully restored to honor its historic character while introducing refined new elements. The renovation will revive signature features such as the courtyard’s original fountains and introduce a striking glass conservatory, lush landscaping and architectural enhancements, creating a warm, welcoming setting that celebrates both heritage and enduring beauty.

Family Entertainment Center
Now thru Spring 2028
The Breakers has embarked on a full-scale transformation of its Family Entertainment Center, boldly reimagining an expansive space that will serve as an innovative recreational destination for guests of all ages. This al fresco experience will delight, inspire and engage through a dynamic blend of indoor‑outdoor activities, casual dining options and immersive, playful moments at every turn.

Golf & Racquet Clubhouse and Flagler Steakhouse
May 26 thru November 2026
The Golf & Racquet Clubhouse, which includes Flagler Steakhouse, will temporarily close to undergo a comprehensive refresh, featuring new club member locker rooms, exterior upgrades and refinements to interior and public spaces. Golf, racquet sports and the Sports Pro Shop will remain open throughout the project; brief, temporary closures may occur for routine maintenance.
South Tower Guest Rooms
May 26 thru November 2026
These oceanfront guest accommodations will receive a range of infrastructure and soft‑good improvements. Temporary scaffolding and equipment may be visible during this time.
