Early Arrivals & Late Departures

If you plan to arrive early in the day and would like immediate access to your room, we recommend booking the room for the prior night to guarantee morning access. Similarly, for late departures, reserving an additional night will guarantee access to your guest room or suite until you depart.

Should your room not be available upon arrival, we will be glad to store your luggage so you may enjoy all resort amenities.

Guest Parking

Overnight valet parking is complimentary.


Cancellation policies vary based on the time of year or event. Failure to arrive on your scheduled date will result in a cancellation of the reservation and deposit forfeiture. If a reservation is reduced in length of stay within the cancellation period, the deposit may be forfeited.

Deposit Information

A one-night room deposit excluding tax is required at time of reservation. Holiday policies:

  • For stay dates between or overlapping February 16 - 18, 2024, a one-night deposit excluding tax is required at time of reservation and full pre-payment is due by January 15, 2024.
  • For stay dates between or overlapping November 27 - 29, 2024, a one-night deposit excluding tax is required at time of reservation and full pre-payment is due by November 1, 2024.
  • For stay dates between or overlapping December 24 - 31, 2024, a one-night deposit excluding tax is required at time of reservation and full pre-payment is due by October 1, 2024.

If you are attending an event or traveling with a group, policies may vary. 

Tax & Service Charges

Room rates are nightly, subject to 13% tax. Meals and beverages are subject to 20% service charge and 7% tax. Rates and state and local taxes are subject to change without notice.

Room Payment 

Upon check-in, guests must provide a valid credit card and government issued photo ID. The name on the credit card and ID must match the name on the room reservation.

Rollaway Beds

Complimentary rollaway beds are available for Premium and Atlantic Guest Rooms, as well as most of our suites. To ensure availability based on your reservation, we encourage you to make a request prior to arriving at the resort. Please note that rollaway beds are not permitted in Deluxe guest rooms and suites, nor in the Flagler Club. 


Complimentary cribs are available for guests staying in our Premium and Atlantic Guest Rooms and Suites. To ensure availability, we encourage you to request your crib(s) prior to arrival at The Breakers.

Guest Health & Safety Policy 

The Breakers prioritizes the well-being of its team, club members, guests and community. Our B SAFE Initiative entails the following operational protocols:

  • Daily health screenings of all team members upon arrival at work 
  • Annual employee training that features comprehensive health and hygiene practices to prevent the spread of infectious disease(s)
  • Advanced air filtration systems to improve air quality
  • Availability of touchless transactions throughout the guest experience 
  • Placement of hand sanitizing stations in various public areas around property, among numerous other measures
  • The resort also holds accreditation from the Global Biorisk Advisory Council (GBAC) – STAR Accreditation Program and the Florida Restaurant & Lodging Association (FRLA) – Seal of Commitment.

Prior to arrival, should any guest display symptoms of, or have exposure to, an infectious disease, we kindly request they reschedule their visit (please refer to Cancellations section above).

In the event of a presumptive case on property, guests must isolate themselves in their room. Security will assist in providing medical attention if needed, and Risk Management will coordinate appropriate operational protocols until the guest can depart safely. 


Please be informed that the following applies to all visitors and personal guests of registered hotel guests at The Breakers: 

  • All visitors are required to provide proper identification upon arrival
  • Visitors and non-hotel guests are not able to access the property between the hours of 11 PM - 7 AM
  • The resort pool and beach facilities are exclusively reserved for registered hotel guests and club members

The Breakers is a non-smoking facility. Cigarettes, cigars and vaping are only permitted outside of the building in designated smoking areas. The use of medical marijuana is not permitted anywhere on property. 

Designated outdoor smoking locations: 

  • Seawall
  • Mediterranean Courtyard
  • Ponce Promenade
  • Front Lawn seating area (excluding Palm Courtyard)
  • Beach
  • South side of The Beach Club Bar (no cigars)
  • Clubhouse veranda (outside The Pro Shop)

Designated smoking areas may be restricted during events. Smoking is no longer permitted on the Flagler Club Terrace.

Firearms & Weapons

Guests are not permitted to have a firearm or weapon of any kind on The Breakers' property. Weapons are prohibited in all resort areas including hotel rooms, restaurants, bars, shops, general public spaces and at events on resort grounds. 

Do Not Disturb

The hotel reserves the right to enter guests' rooms at any time to maintain the safety and security of our guests, staff and property.  

The Breakers Palm Beach Main Drive
