Executive Biography

David Renna serves as Vice President of Real Estate Assets & Club Administration at The Breakers Palm Beach, where he provides executive oversight of the resort’s expanding portfolio of residential, commercial and retail real estate interests, as well as club operations and membership across the 140-acre oceanfront property and beyond. His purview spans the ultra-luxury Breakers Row residences, the Ocean Club—an exclusive beach, pool and recreation experience—as well as Breakers West Country Club, Via Flagler by The Breakers and a range of additional holdings on and off the island. Collectively, these entities reflect the thoughtful evolution of the company’s long-term vision.

Central to Renna’s impact is his ability to shape two highly specialized areas critical to the organization’s continued growth. He seamlessly unifies operational excellence with forward-looking investment strategies, guiding each initiative with precision and purpose. Under his direction, every asset is carefully positioned to uphold The Breakers’ uncompromising standards of quality, service, preservation and enduring value.

Since joining The Breakers in 2003 as Assistant Director of Food & Beverage, Renna has demonstrated exceptional adaptability and distinct cross-functional leadership. Throughout his tenure, he assumed broader, more complex responsibilities, advancing to Director of Club Operations in 2010 and Senior Director of Real Estate Assets & Club Administration in 2017. 

A New Jersey native, Renna began his career in food and beverage at distinguished four- and five-star hotels and restaurants. His early experience included The Phoenician in Scottsdale, where he became a sommelier, followed by a leadership role at The Mirage in Las Vegas, where he helped launch the acclaimed restaurant Renoir and achieved a Mobil Five-Star rating within six months. He later held senior positions at The Arizona Biltmore and Four Seasons Scottsdale, further strengthening his expertise in luxury hospitality operations.

Renna currently resides in Palm Beach Gardens with his wife, Suzanne, and their two children. He served as Vice Chairman of the Palm Beach Chamber of Commerce and as a member of the Executive Committee for the Palm Beach Midtown Business Association. He remains actively engaged in the local community, supporting several philanthropic organizations, including United Way of Palm Beach County, Place of Hope and Quantum House.
