Advanced Sommelier at Flagler Steakhouse

Earning her Advanced Sommelier Certification in 2020 from the Court of Master Sommeliers, Kaysie Rogers currently serves as the award-winning Advanced Sommelier at Flagler Steakhouse, located at The Breakers Palm Beach - an iconic, luxury oceanfront resort in Palm Beach, Florida.

Responsible for expanding and enhancing the American chophouse’s carefully curated wine list of more than 820 selections, Rogers educates and trains her team on all things wine and spirits, while managing the restaurant’s daily beverage inventory. Under her supervision, Flagler Steakhouse has maintained Wine Spectator’s “Best of Award of Excellence,” a recognition held since 2014.

Rogers first joined The Breakers’ in 2020 as a sommelier at HMF, the resort’s chic social club. During her two-year tenure at the restaurant, she contributed to the retention of The Breakers’ Wine Spectator “Grand Award” (which it has held since the award's inception in 1981), recognizing HMF’s 2,200-plus wine list.

A former pastry chef and cake artist, Rogers developed her passion for wine while traveling the world, delivering master classes and competing on Food Network television shows. In 2018, she landed in Seattle, Washington where she passed the Court of Master Sommeliers’ Introductory, Certified, and Advanced exams, and earned her WSET (Wine & Spirits Education Trust) Diploma. Shortly after, she achieved her certification as a specialist of wine from the Society of Wine Educators, while working as a sommelier at Wild Ginger and The Metropolitan Grill in Seattle. In 2022, Rogers was one of six Finalists vying for the title of “Best Sommelier USA,” a national competition facilitated by Best USA Sommelier Association (BUSA), a not-for-profit organization created by top wine industry professionals to support and promote the role of sommelier in the United States.

Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, Rogers holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Belmont University. She has been ranked among Top 10 Cake Decorators in North America and is a Food Network Challenge Winner.

Looking to the future, Rogers aspires to pursue her Master Sommelier accreditation and one day open her own Champagne Bar.
