The Breakers Set to Elevate Recreational Luxury with New World-class Tennis & Racquet Facilities, Debuting Late 2024

PALM BEACH, FL - The Breakers Palm Beach, one of America’s most iconic resorts, has embarked on a full-scale renovation of its renowned tennis and racquet facilities nestled within 140-acres of oceanfront property. This comprehensive $12M project, spanning over 104K sq. ft., will introduce 16 state-the-art, open-air courts - inclusive of tennis, pickleball and padel - each with an exclusive comfort and refreshment cabana. Anticipated to be completed by the end of 2024, this investment underscores the company’s commitment to elevating its unparalleled collection of amenities for hotel guests and club members.

With reverence for classic tennis culture, the remodel will enhance the active leisure lifestyle, featuring a sophisticated ambiance reminiscent of a grand estate. For example, elegant white fencing will encircle the grounds and courts, defining each space, while seamlessly blending with the hotel’s timeless charm. In addition, The Breakers has enlisted long-standing partner, Tihany Design, to further enrich the casually-chic aesthetic with stylish furnishings that are inviting, purposeful and uniquely Palm Beach.

“We are thrilled to offer a premier destination for racquet sports enthusiasts of all levels,” shared Paul N. Leone, CEO of The Breakers. “From seasoned pros to amateurs and spectators alike, everyone will appreciate and enjoy this stunning transformation at our Ocean Golf and Tennis Clubhouse. Every detail, including the addition of shaded structures for comfort and well-being, has been thoughtfully conceived to deliver exceptional experiences. For over 128 years, The Breakers has strived to continuously raise the bar, setting the standard of recreational luxury and excellence in the resort & club landscape.”
