From paid internships and externships to full-time career offers, The Breakers’ unique approach to recruitment is, like everything else, a cut above. Discover one-of-a-kind opportunities like L.E.A.D., in which students learn, engage, achieve and develop on-site at our resort. It’s an elite, 12-week program comprised of top talent from our partner colleges and universities, designed for deep immersion in the hospitality industry through collaborative tactics like job shadowing, mentoring and developmental workshops.

Where does the bright, young talent in our International Associate Program come from? Everywhere. In pursuit of the most promising candidates out there, we search across the globe, granting a choice few the opportunity to join The Breakers. 

First introduced in 1996, our International Associate Program (J1 Visa 18-month training) has evolved to become one of the most prestigious hospitality trainings in the world. Our program grants you exposure to the systems and standards that have made The Breakers a leader among luxury lodging organizations. It’s also a once-in-a-lifetime chance to experience and better understand American culture and work in the heart of beautiful Palm Beach. 

Tailoring our curriculum to the needs of each trainee, our program aims to achieve the following:
